Final Project

Treatment: The working title for my final project is Big Brave Dog.  Big Brave Dog is a story based on my real-life little peekapoo dog, Bella.  In this animation Bella is a talking dog with an underbite that loves her huge soccer ball that is left outside in the front yard.  From inside she stares out the window keeping guard of her ball when suddenly a vicious demon rabbit intruder hops along and stares at her ball.  Feeling threatened, the story then changes to Bella’s attempt to escaping from the house when her brilliant, yet disgusting plan is to use the bathroom on the floor.  She succeeds in getting out and running the demon rabbit off, but is left an unpleasant surprise from the rabbit surrounding her ball.

I want the characters in the story to have this kawaii Hello Kitty-esque vibe to them.  It will be done in Photoshop and they will be solid with a drop shadow behind them.  For the background I plan to scan in different materials and textures to fill in the sky, house, grass, ball… everything besides the characters.  I want it to have a very playful child-like look to it with scatological humor.
